Haliyala Uttara Kannada

Welcome to Hongirana Cultural and Social Society®, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional arts, literature, music, and culture. Since our founding, we’ve worked tirelessly to safeguard art forms on the verge of extinction, offering performances, workshops, and training sessions to keep these traditions alive.

Our puppetry performances are at the heart of our mission, captivating audiences both nationally and internationally. Featured on TV channels like Doordarshan's Chandana and Udaya TV, and showcased at renowned festivals such as Mysore Dasara and Hampi Utsav, our shows span a range of themes from folklore and epics to social issues like environmental conservation and addiction prevention.

With a passionate team of artists, we bring these timeless traditions to life and ensure that future generations can experience the magic of our cultural heritage.
